Before your session even begins, you'll know exactly what to expect. I've photographed 100+ seniors since 2018, all over Metro Detroit, from Stoney Creek to downtown Detroit, so I know what works. Your outfits, your location, your timeline, down to the exact time of day for the best light. We'll talk through everything ahead of time, from what to wear to the mood you're going for, so nothing is left to chance on the actual day. You'll get a full styling consultation with outfit inspiration and guidance on what works best for your session's location and season, so you're never guessing what to wear. If the weather doesn't cooperate, I already have a backup plan ready to go. No guessing, no scrambling, just a clear plan so you can relax and actually enjoy the experience.
I'll Be Your Personal Guide
During your session, you're never just posing for me. I know the quiet fear that comes with being in front of a camera, the worry that you won't know what to do with your hands or that every photo will feel awkward. That's why I'm asking what you like before we even start, showing you the back of the camera, and letting you take the lead as much or as little as you want. I'll crack the right jokes at the right time, since I learn about you beforehand so I know what will actually make you laugh. There's a private changing tent so wardrobe changes are easy, not awkward. If you're someone who usually cringes at photos of yourself, that's exactly the kind of second-guessing this process is built to soften. My favorite moment is always the same. It's when you stop checking if you look okay and just start being yourself in front of the camera.

I've watched families come back to me year after year. The same kids I photographed as little ones are the seniors in front of my camera now, and I know the worry every mom carries, that she'll blink and this chapter will already be over. I love showing a mom the back of my camera and watching her realize her daughter isn't a little girl anymore. When and how will I receive my images?
Yes! Every session includes a personalized styling consultation, with outfit inspiration and guidance on what works best for your session's location and season.
What should I wear, and do you help with outfit planning?
I get it, it's a real investment, and it's a fair thing to want reassurance on. What you're paying for isn't just the images, it's the planning, the guidance through every part of the day, and the confidence your senior walks away with. It also means real peace of mind: if your uniquely built plan needs any adjustments, whether it's weather or timing, I already have a backup ready so you're never left scrambling. And every collection includes heirloom-quality artwork, not something you'd find at a big-box studio. Most families tell me the real value shows up months later, when they're the ones who keep going back to these photos again and again.

What is a session fee?
Your session fee reserves your date and covers my time, expertise, and full planning process, including a personalized styling consultation and location planning tailored to your senior. For girls, this is $365 and includes professional hair and makeup. For boys, it's $225. Your session fee is separate from your collection.
Collections start at $1,600 and always include both digital files and artwork. Each collection is built around giving you images to share plus heirloom pieces you can hold onto, and at your private image reveal I'll walk you through your gallery to choose what's right for your family.
What's included in the collections?
Every collection includes both digitals and artwork.
Are digital files included, or is it prints/artwork only?
For the Experience Session, yes, artwork is a required part of the collection. If you're really only interested in digital files, my Simplicity Session is likely a better fit, feel free to reach out and I can walk you through the difference.
Do I have to buy artwork?
Yes! I offer payment plans that can be customized to fit each client's needs. The earlier you book, the more flexibility you'll have, so don't wait too long to reach out.
Are there payment plans?
I recommend booking two to three months ahead. That gives us enough time to plan locations and outfits together, and helps make sure we can find a spot that works on the calendar.
How far in advance do I need to book?
It starts with a quick consultation call, so we can make sure we're a good fit and everything aligns with what you're envisioning. If it feels right, you'll sign your contract and reserve your date with your session fee. Schedule your consult here to get started.
How do I actually book my date?
If rain is in the forecast, I'll reach out right away so we can start putting together a plan B, whether that means moving your session up earlier in the day or rescheduling to another date entirely.
What happens when it rains?
You'll have your image reveal about two to three weeks after your session. From there, it takes about three to four weeks for your artwork and digitals to be ready for pickup.
